Not too much has been going on up at the lodge lately.  We were up there for the August long weekend. We had our Cowboys & Indians theme weekend.  Not the turn out we expected but fun anyway.  It is all in the company you keep.  Check out the pictures page for all the fun.  We got a chance to get out and do some hiking and  check out some of the wildlife. We want to thank Greg & Karen for the wonderful turkey dinner. If you have never had deep fried turkey you have to try it.

We also went golfing while there. Yes golfing. We found a small nine hole course on the way into the cabin called Tin Cup Greens.  I know what your thinking, how good can it be.  It is actually pretty nice for the price.  They charge you only ten dollars and you can golf all day.  Yes that’s right ALL DAY.  They even have pull carts and clubs you can use, FOR FREE.  The money they collect is donated to the local volunteer fire department.  So you can play as many holes as you want for only ten dollars. If you feel guilty you can donate more.  We managed to squeeze in 18 holes.  Then it got too hot.  I made up a PDF of the score card and waiver. Click to check them out. So next time you are in the area stop in play some golf for a good cause.  The wife would feel guilty telling you that you couldn’t play.  It is on the North Bonaparte Road,  70 Mile House B.C.
